Research Positions

2022/14 months  Research Assistant, Asian Lifestyle Design Lab, The Hong Kong Polytechnic University

Designed furniture system for children living in small space, 60 sets has been produced and donated so far. The project later received funding to produce 2,000 sets.Planned and facilitated co-creation workshops with 11 cross-disciplinary experts, and community workshops with more than 60 families; carried out site visits, interviews, and usability testing with beneficiary children and their families; wrote pre- and post-intervention survey and basic data analysis using excel; assisted collaborations with The Salvation Army and local furniture makers; produced draft of public-facing report.

2019/6 months  Student Research Assistant, Institute of Textiles and Clothing, The Hong Kong Polytechnic University

Designed reusable sanitary pad with chitosan fabric coordinated with fashion designer; experimented and developed silicone insole design with wearable electronic textile.
